So, why the change?

First and foremost, we heard you and we listened.  During the spring registration session, the most common comment we received was that we should find a way to make registration easier.  So we did!  We expect you'll find the process of getting your kids registered for our program now easier than ever.

Second, Wrightwood Little League has always been responsible stewards of the funds our participants pay for the program.  This has allowed us to do a lot of great things over the years, including bringing you a state-of-the-art website and registration platform several years ago when other options were just downright bad and clunky.  But times have changed, and so have the technologies available to us.  The platform we have now switched to - Blue Sombrero - used to be the most expensive solution on the market.  However, following a recent acquisition of Blue Sombrero by Dick's Sporting Goods we are now able to use this technology at no cost to the league for elements we once had to invest a significant amount for!  "A fantastic solution at no cost?  Sign us up!"  So we did.

Finally, with Blue Sombrero joining the Dick's Sporting Goods family it means we also get integrations with other cool products like GameChanger, which many of you have become familiar with over the last few years for scoring games and tracking standings.
